Plushie Adoption Center... come get your web plush!

Hi there!
Here's a little project I've been working on during the holidays... I've had quite some trouble trying to understand what I could do with my Neocities space since my mainsite is hosted elsewhere, but I think I found what I'd really like it to be.

Inspired by Suta Raito's old Plushie Preserve ( https://web.archive.org/web/20070227191348/http://suta-raito.com/pp.shtml ) I have opened the Plushie Adoption Center, web adopts in form of little plushies made and repaired by the site's mascot, Tartan!

I'm sure adopts need no introductions on a smallweb forums, but basically they're small graphics free to add to your site/blog/forum signature that would link back to the place you've got them from. Along with the "Shelves" (pages where the actual adopts are) I've also filled up a FAQ section should newbies need more info on how they work, and a contact/to do list page as I'm looking for suggestions on what other creatures I should draw as tiny plushies!

What would you like to see? For now I'm focusing on real life animals but I'd love to do some creatures/monsters later on, especially if they're from obscure medias :3

ahhh i love this so much!!! i can't wait to put these on my site! they're so well made 

personally, i think it would be nice to browse stuff like ebay for old plushies, and popular plush makers like aurora, ty and jellycat for some inspiration! i would love to see love for more unusual animals - some fluffy ones like bush dogs, lemurs and binturongs, but others that don't look so cuddly on first glance, like jumping spiders, isopods, moray eels, etc.

"uncharismatic" animals deserve love too, and i think adopting one would be really cute!

also... maybe some prehistoric species? imagine a cuddly ammonite?!

I actually did get some ref material from a plush brand for these first batches =D I mainly got inspired by Trudi which was where most of my childhood soft toys came from. Ty and the OG Beanie Babies also have amazing variety, I could definitely do some research on that if I need to draw more "obscure" species.

Oooooh, these are adorable! I think you did a pretty good job bringing back the spirit of Suta-Raito's plushies here  I especially love the horses! I want to add a Palomino to my Cyberpet Zoo!

As for suggestions... b i r d s. I'll always advocate for birds. Birds of prey and songbirds are great choices, but I'm also a big fan of waterfowl and flightless birds. Want more specific? Make a cassowary plush. Love those terrific (and terrifying) turkey-raptors   

As for obscure media creatures? I have a challenge one for you: the Griffin from Féherlófia/Son of the White Mare. That movie has a few great monster/creature designs, but its Griffin is my favourite of them all.

If I come up with anything more I'll be sure to come back again! Either I'll edit this post or I'll write a new one

Ooooh these are so cute!! I'd love to see some dragons in here. Maybe Saphira from Eragon. Both the book version and the movie version since they're fairly different (the movie gives her feathered wings for some reason). Also some HTTYD dragons could be really cool to see, especially some of the lesser known ones.

Lovely! Non-pixel art style adopts are my favourite and low-key rare to find in small web spaces (besides some pet games) so I welcome that.
Here are a few personal favourites and suggestions I'd love to see

• Animals: Toucan, hummingbird, shoebill, raven/crow, cassowary, orange and black cat, turtle (box turtle?) & froggies
• Critters: Isopod (e.g. rubber ducky), jumping & velvet spider, firefly, ladybug, snail
• non living beings: crystals, stones and fossils of any kind, plants (in and outdoor. Bonsai, cacti), leaves and flowers, consoles (e.g. Nintendo DS)

Not sure how well all of them work as a plush concept but it's worth a shot!

hoping for foxes, coyotes, raccoons, cats, omg i cant list them all, but yeah more more more critters please! XD they're adorable!
