I personally have to wait a year and a half or so to meet up with my e-husband and have him maintain me, i pretty much have nothing to do in the meantime and my life in itself is extremely boring and repetitive. how do you cope with such things? I've been on the internet all my life so coping that way isnt as effective as it used to be,,,

I'd suggest getting into whatever media seems interesting to you!

(Dumping all fiction and art into the term "media" is a bit controversial rn, but idk how else to refer to all this stuff. Forgive me, god).

Watch a TV show, or a bunch of movies you haven't gotten to yet. Play some video games or read a webcomic! Even if games seem too expensive to you, there's a ton of cheap or free (yet very interesting stuff) that can be found through ich.io or abandonware sites. Piracy makes all of this so easy, so the sky's the limit in terms of all of human art rn.

Find local events and plan day trips for your self. Go to a different neighborhood just to hang out.

i have a bad habit of killing time by just scrolling through the forums i follow to see if anything new is going on. not really any different from doomscrolling facebook, tbh

so, to quell that habit, i try something different: writing songs. i’m the musical type who keeps getting song ideas in my head; if they stick, i write them down. maybe i’ll record a demo, too
