does everyone have 2 monitors?

I only have a single monitor, funded by my father, its a fairly modern 45 dollar monitor, nothing fancy. if i were to get a second one it would be one of those VGA ones from like 2008, maybe with a grey bezel instead of black, i really like the look of those.

most conveniently, i could watch a youtube video on my 2nd monitor while i do whatever on my 1st one, i think this would increase my productivity as i could listen to music or watch terry davis streams on youtube in full screen, i´ll probably buy one soon.

i do have 2 monitors but one of them is a hand me down and uhhh very busted lol ! i have my laptop and then this monitor ... im hoping i can eventually get a new one but im kinda sounding out my choices right now and hearing what recommendations people have for certain brands theylike/ have the most uhh lifetime usage? my monitor setup is janky as hell i am constantly moving stuff all over the place as is most convenient but thats exactly why i love it too :>

i have 2 monitors but also i kind of have 3?
i have 2 monitors on elevated stands and then ahead of them on my desk have a pretty large (23.8 inch) screen tablet for my art.. when im not drawing i usually have my tablets display off but i do end up coding on it usually when im doing a lot of it so i can have a full screen preview of what im working on on my main monitor and then a video or whatever else on my secondary one

I used to use a desktop computer with 2 monitors, main being 14" warm-white monochrome CRT that maxed out at 640x480 60 Hz (that I used for writing prose and computer code), and second being 17" color CRT monitor that went up to 1280x960 and suchlike (that I used for lesiure stuff); both connected to via Y-cable to a VGA port on a single video card.

They were also stacked vertically on my monitor desk (separate from the desk I was sitting to operate it), monochrome on the desk, and color on a shelf on the bottom of it. Weird, I know.

Oh, and aformentioned nearly 30-years old monochrome monitor was still functional the last time I dug it out of storeroom several years ago. Lindy effect in action.

My today's dual-monitor setup however, is rather my 1366x768 14" laptop screen on my desk, and a full-HD 23" 1920x1080 LCD/IPS monitor (that I actually run at 1280x720 most of the time) on aforementioned monitor desk-- connected to my laptop via an old-school VGA cable.

i have one monitor and one 15 inch drawing display tablet, which i guess i also use as a monitor when im not drawing? so by technicality i guess i have two

for normal display monitors, i think id rather have one really big monitor than two tho
but seeing people having horizontal monitors in their set up is admittedly cool

i have an old, hand-me-down desk that predates the contemporary home computer setup--lots of nooks and crannies for stationery, but little space for anything bigger than a laptop. i actually do HAVE two laptops (one's from my employer) but i rarely ever use both at once.

I have two. Max was maybe four at one point (long ago, it might have actually been a TV). My cintiq becomes my third when I draw but it's in my way normally.

The permanent set up is two though. A smaller monitor then bigger one that's special for color calibration as I do a lot of video editing, color grading and art. The bigger monitor was bought yeeears ago when I think color specifics were less of a thing. It's also a bit bulky but it continues to chug on since it has 2 HDMI outputs. 32" beast.

I only have 1 monitor, never had 2. I just dont understand why I would...? xD I just browse and hang out on my PC so I dont need that. I've got a wide Samsung screen that I got for christmas from my dad. I dont even remember if I needed it, but I also dont know where my old screen is, so.. maybe it got broken? lmfao. how do I not remember. I gotta check old photos, lol. I think I got it in like 2019 or 2018 maybe? Or maybe even earlier. Jeez.

I wouldn't have space for 2 anyway haha.

Used to.. 4x3 and a wide screen now monitors have gotten so big now adays it's not feasable to run a second one....

My mom has three for work, but I just have my laptop. I can't think of a use for having a second one, really.

I only have 2 if you consider my drawing monitor as a second monitor (I don't, but it's nice for when I'm playing my Switch because my laptop and Switch are connected to the same monitor, and I can use my drawing monitor to see my computer screen).
