hardcore punk: fresh fruit for rotting vegetables by dead kennedys
pop punk: dookie by greenday
post punk/goth: in the flat field by bauhaus
glam punk: oriental beat by hanoi rocks

Death is one of my absolute favorites. Their documentary is inspiring too—really makes you think about the legacy of something you make. This album went unnoticed for DECADES until it finally got the recognition it deserved in 2009. Absolute legends.

Death is one of my absolute favorites.

I just clicked on this thread ready to write down the same Death album but realized you beat me to it! Kudos to you. 

Other than that? Likely Living in Darkness by Agent Orange or Minor Disturbance by Teen Idles. Big fan of that classic and proto punk sound. Plenty of good stuff nowadays, but I always go back to the classics.
