You don't need a guide for that, there's no particular way to do it and there are an infinate number of possible options.
You could just write txt files for each day and link them on your site, you could make a whole dedicated page for ever hour of your life (though you might not have much of a life left

), you could write a script that extracts your notes from word documents on your computer and publishes them as webapges, you could use a blogging helper like Zonelets, you could just add your thoughts to one big html page, you could make audio recordings for each entry and post them on a page, you could bullet point each entry like I bet you wished this post was bullet pointed!, you could hide diary notes around your site so people never know when they will find one, you could even write your diary entries as pomes in CSS and have your thought's expressed as page styling that no one can comprehend.
Its the web, you can do anything, and its all fine
The reality is you'll prob try a few options, and the first few might get abandoned because they don't work out for you, but the fun of it is inventing ways that work for you and seeing how you can pull them off.
