So awhile back I made this game called MATTERPUNK that was basically a tiny stripped-down version of Morrowind
It's got a surreal science-fantasy aesthetic (Very Purple And Red), two towns, five dungeons, and a pretty crunchy RPG system
https://archive.org/download/nosfur-autopirate/MATTERPUNKautopirate.zip(don't worry, the names a joke, I made this game and own the rights to it lol, I just wanted something quirky to call it when giving it out for free on my studio name's website)
I've had a bit of fun with it. It's a very "empty open world broken up by infrequent random encounters and dungeons, towns". You'll probably get a kick out of it if you retro sandbox crpgs
tbh I would like to make a spiritual successor to it that's a bit more advanced, a more dense and fleshed out world, slightly more modernized but still with that oldschool crunch
Anyway, have fun with it, tell me what you think!
