Hello! Some of you will have seen my old 3D lands! Such as this one (ignore the controls message, it was made for a different viewer):
I'm a big fan of 3D lands on the web and I'd like to see some lands may by YOU

Making a land is pretty easy if you know any 3D modeling software, and Blender can export to X3D very easily.
I have a small tutorial here too:
https://thoughts.melonking.net/guides/creating-a-3d-world-in-x3dPartly I'd like to see lands, but also I'm interested in testing the forums new 3D viewer, so I'd like to see some lands please!
With this in mind, around the 17th of July I will gather together all the lands people share into a project
When making lands, I recommend you keep your final land under 10mbs total, you can do that by decimating 3D models so they loads fast and compressing any textures. Low-poly is best for the web!
Also to keeep compatibility with future MelonLand projects I recommend you follow these conventions:- Use metric size as the model format with 1 meter as a standard unit size (In Belnder: Scene/Units - should be default)
- Prefix floors with GROUND_
- Prefix walls with WALL_
- Prefix solids with SOLID_
- Prefix sound emitters with SOUND_
- Prefix interaction triggers with TRIGGER_
You can host lands on your site, or upload them to a folder on the
ftp server (this may work best)
