Okay, I was being dramatic and hyperbolic earlier today about me procrastinating big tasks and focusing on tiny little ones, but it got me wondering of what the most pointless thing in existence is.

Of course, depending on your worldview, you could argue everything is the most pointless thing in existence, or even this very question... But you can feel free to create your own criteria for this. It's not meant to be harsh or philosophical. Just a funny thought that I wanted to know people's answers to. :)

i would argue a LOT of things in modern human society have been made pointless...ly complicated. especially in the tech/internet sector. politics and laws and war and economics... we have made existence too complicated, and for what? just so a few rich jerks can get even richer? well, rich men, i hope chopping down the amazon rainforest was worth it so you can fail to make your sci-fi-in-real-life fantasies come true. great freaking job! :doh:
