Does anybody remember deviantart flash games/animations?

I came across one yesterday (so couldn't post since the forum was closed), but obviously I could only view the thumbnail I couldn't actually play the thing because unlike furaffinity, deviantart deprecated flash and if I'm right also removed all traces of it from their website, so all the swf files themselves are lost media.

I wonder if there ever was a project (other than flashpoint) that directly archived as many deviantart flash games as possible. I also remember an animation of Sonic.exe that would try to jumpscare you, it was well done too with a part of the animation using the actual green of deviantart to make it seem like Sonic.exe was literally popping out of the screen.


I miss those days, deviantart is so depressingly bad, so abysmally awful now that I'm genuinely surprised it still has real artists on it and they haven't just all migrated to instagram and twitter. I've deleted my account and was gone for good from da for well over a decade and that's the only reason I even come back there because some artists still prefer using it over any other platforms.

You're not right. 

1. Log in to a DeviantArt account and click the "download" button on that page and you'll get the SWF file. I've also attached a copy for your convenience.

(It's also possible to download without logging in: view the source and search for .swf to find the encoded URL, remove the escaping and navigate to it.)

2. Then install a copy of Ruffle or whatever and simple self-contained SWFs like this Just Work.
