Extension to limit (but not elimimate) youtube recommended

I have an extension called Unhook which allows you to configure your Youtube layout to be less addicting, so I removed recommendations on sidebar and the homepage. Issue is sometimes I like to see the recommended videos so I enable the homepage once... and I end up spending a few hrs. on Youtube.

Is there a way to cut down on the amount of recommended vids I see on the homepage while not totally removing them? Should i submit a feature request?

You could try changing the amount of thumbnails shown per row maybe? Enhancer for youtube lets you do that, it's the first setting under "appearance". That's what I use at least
