How Many Accounts Do You Use?

Its a dizzying amount for me, but it also makes sense because the internet is my main source of socialization at all as a disabled person.

Mainly I'm asking because do you just copy/paste your profile info in each place? [I do] Or do you basically rewrite to suit the place. I try to focus on whats the most important things I want people to know about me. I know I have a slight fear of being annoying sending exactly the same thing among several channels, but such is the live of the creator yearning for approval and feedback, no?

Basically any silo on which you can find me on the Web has the same content - advice that you should go to my website as a single central source of truth! My aim is to get people off of e.g. listening to my podcast via YouTube or getting notifications that I've posted via Telegram or whatever. Everything I create online belongs on my website; everywhere else it might appear is an inferior copy; so yeah - my profiles all just say "you're getting the cut-down version, the good stuff is on DanQ.me!"

As for how many accounts: perhaps I'm just old, but I'm not sure I understand the question! It feels like you're talking about places where you have a public profile of some kind, but those are amazingly diverse. Does LinkedIn count? Does GitHub? Does OKCupid? Does Metafilter? How about my Interactive Fiction Database reviewer account? My password safe says I have a little under 600 sets of credentials for websites, but plenty of those probably don't count, and the fuzziness makes the question hard to answer. Let's say somewhere between 6 and 600!
