What are some songs that always put you in the Halloween mood in October? I love horror punk, so anything by AFI circa 2000 is a good choice. Choosing anything from All Hallow's EP is probably cheating, but I can't go the month without listening to "Totalimmortal" at least once.

here's my list! 8-) it goes from songs about monsters to music that just puts me in a mood as it gets colder&darker @_@ 1. the cramps - human fly i love this song so much i even made an animation for it >:0 the mental image of a human fly is just so good lol 2. roky erickson - i walked with a zombie self explanatory! 3. the misfits - saturday night i could have put the monster mash, but this one has more sentimental value :p 4. man or astroman - invasion of the dragonmen it's the invasion of the dragonmen!! 5. swell maps - big empty field i had to stop myself from just putting the whole album, it's half instrumental songs and they are so perfectly moody..:^)
6. public image limited - banging the door it was also hard to pick one song from this album but this one sets the tone :' 7. funeral party - dream of embyro best for last: it's a two song ep but ughhh if nothing else THIS is the perfect spoopy weather listening AND it has the best album cover honorable mention: the rocky horror picture show soundtrack, because there's a live show every halloween in my city and it's a right of passage

I got a few good ones:
First of all, The Boys Are Back In Town (To Kill You) by JerryTerry, forever making me trip up when I hear the original songThen, continuing the saga of The Boys who may or may not be on their way to kill you, Kiss Me (Kill Me). Really loved the first one but I think I might actually prefer this one! And unrelated to the two above, the entirety of Spirit Phone by Lemon Demon: not necessarily a "Halloween" album but it's got the spooks and I listened to it on repeat in October 2020 so you know, it's got the Halloween baggage on my end.Enjoy!

The world ends with you. If you want to enjoy life, expand your world. You gotta push your horizons out as far as they go.

I love this! It has a very Hellraiser-ish vibe to it, which scratched the itch left by the latest film which I can't watch because we don't get Hulu in Canada.

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo - Ain't No Party Like Halloween
I love this one! It reminds me of the excellent Pumpkin Hill theme from Sonic Adventure 2, which is another great pick for this thread.
