I graduated recently and got filled into the position of "does whatever needs to be done" in the Environmental Health and Safety department of my college. It's comfortable and there's a lot of exposure to unusual circumstances and boring meetings.
to Gans and Thorn - while working at a call center may be the only viable option for some, there are still risks... if you can help it, avoid anything like those companies that transcribe phone calls to text for the hearing impaired. My girlfriend had multiple bad experiences with having to transcribe violent events on someone else's call...
