What do you think of motorcycles?

Since a year or so my interest in motorcycles have been reignited... This december I've had the pleasure of riding my dad's old harley davidson, and now I'm in the process of buying a used guzzi v7 iv!

I'm so incredibly excited for it!   I love the idea of just following the road and visit random small towns and villages along the way, avoiding highways and just taking in the trip.

What do you think about motorcycles in general? Do you have one, or would like to get one? Also, do you have any tips for a newbie rider like me?

i don't have a motorcycle, but i have a moped! A Puch Maxi KL, in black I think. I am impatiently waiting for the snow and ice to melt so I can ride it again... I would love to get a motorcycle in the future sometime.

Motorcycles and mopeds are a top teir method of transport (after just regular bicycles, and your own two legs). I feel it's a more personal interaction with the world around you than others. You are out in the air, not inside a car or a cabin, you're exposed and vulnerable. You can feel the air shooshing around you, changes in the surface of the road. Your senses are all sharpened, and you experience everything very clearly. I love it
