This zone is sleeping right now! ZzzZZzzz

Better not distrub it! ~You go to the petrol station and buy a slushy instead, everything is cool!~

This area will open again in 000.beats!

Some other zones are awake :^]

Hi! I want to make a little website in the style of a point-and-click game, sort of like those escape room games you could find online back in the day! Does anyone have any pointers as to where I could look for tools I could use (assuming I can't just hard code the thing in html lol).
It's supposed to be a lab where you can mess around with different tools and samples, and I'd love to use this experience to also learn a new skill/language!

It's actually quite easy to do this in HTML!
With image maps, You can use coordinates to draw sections of an image and then code those clickable areas to do whatever you want!

The catch is image maps have to be a fixed size, not responsive to browser windows. If that bothers you you can look into SVGs (scalable vector images) In my experience svgs are finicky for some browser types, but smarter ppl have gotten them to work.

My website is almost entirely built on image maps, it's super fun and one of the simplest things to do in html!
