Fellow artists!!! I've been planning to start working on a new comic lately, so I'm curious to see what everyone else's working on. Share your stories and any related works below  :dog:

I'll start :ha: I'm working on a comic called V2 (I think I've posted art of it here before :4u:) It's about a kid who dies and is replaced by his parents with a girl. They act like he never died at all and pretend she is the original. He comes back as a ghost to haunt her in revenge, but they eventually become friends and bond over their mutual troubles with individualism. I've had the idea in my head for a while now and I have a good bit of concept art and scripting, but I haven't gotten to really starting yet. Hopefully this year I'll start actually working on pages for it.

My short description doesn't do it justice honestly, but the stories always subject to change so I'm being broad haha

Lmk what you guys are working on and if you've started/released it anywhere yet!!

That's an interesting concept. Sort of a twist on "the forgotten haunting their replacement" trope but instead bonding because the replacement resents being a replacement in the first place? You can definitely do a lot with that.

I've been working on a comic idea for yonks now called Celectrique. It's a furry superhero comic starring a crow named Celeste who, though a series of unfortunate events, including her husband being murdered by an assassin, ends up getting electrical superpowers. She decides to use them to save lives and fight villains, as well as find out who was behind her husband's death. I'm on the road to launching it this year, actually - I've got a bunch of page layouts sketched up, as well as a rudimentary site set up (but not accessible... yet) thanks to the Rarebit comic template. I just gotta work on my work ethic... I'm super lazy.
