MySpace/SpaceHey-like pages

Hey,
I'm thinking of making MySpace-like profile pages for my characters, but a) It's a bit of a big undertaking and b) I don't know the best way of integrating it with the main project site, like can you see the rest of the site in the nav bar, or is there a specific special button to back out? How much do I want it to look like the in-universe, isolated website vs part of the wider project?

Has anyone ever tried anything similar? What are your take-aways and advice, and how did you integrate it with your wider site? Was it any more complicated than the rest of your site? Any advice or ideas on how to approach it would be appreciated by me and, I'm sure, others.

I love the idea of making an online bio for fictional chars, it's something I did once literally on MySpace but I found it overwhelming having so many different accounts for them haha.

It would be cool if there was a site where you could just put bios of characters on!
