VENETIAN SNARES MENTIONED I LOVE VENETIAN SNARES  :ozwomp:

 Here's some other breakcore albums/tracks I love:

Igorrr & Ruby My Dear - Maigre (EP) This one is actually a huge genre mashup!

Xanopticon - Liminal Space pure breaks! very harsh, I like.

wawawa - unused biitsu VERY underrated artist my friend found on bandcamp

qebrus -  ◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙◙ Now this. It's a really unique sound, feels so alien! Rate Your Music calls this flashcore.

I'm not fully aware how well known he is outside of video game related circles, but TECHNOuchi (Yuji Takenouchi) (and all of his various aliases) is one of my favourite artists ever. His works under the name Missingsoul have a distinctive sound to them that I find deeply comforting. Very similar is Trinidadian Deep, and I was very surprised to find out that Trinidadian Deep did a remix of one of Missingsoul's songs.

These are some of my favourites from Takenouchi that it doesn't seem like a lot of people know about:

兄弟の絆
in your phantom
Rêve
Luna Eternelle
Fairytale
Galaxy 2 Galaxy

But there are many more.

I'm going to pick the song Golden Brown by the punk rock group The Stranglers. This is most definitely NOT a punk rock song - it prominently features a harpsichord!

The music video for the song was filmed in the exquisite Arab Hall of Leighton House in London. I liked the video so much, that I actually went there to do some photography of the locations and made this "filming locations then and now" documentary video, posted on YouTube (below) and on my website https://ChrisBungoStudios.com

Golden Brown is indeed a jewel - one of the catchiest tunes that mainstream pop (the Stranglers were hardly "punk", merely a rock band on heroine tbh) in the UK generated after the Beatles, and the Video is indeed great.

The two Billy Joel music videos to "Uptown Girl" and "For the longest time" are great

Also, "He's got the power" by the Exciters is great!

The "Uptown Girl" video brings back so many nice memories of those early days at MTV. We had the added bonus that our cable system also offered the stereo feed. All you had to do was make sure your "hi-fi stereo speakers" were on either side of the TV, run a coaxial cable into the system's FM antenna outlet and tune to 93 point something and voila! MTV in Stereo!
