Warm greetings! :-) I adore your site's design.

(not sure if the message was sent through, so resending)

Hey melonland! I'm Maya Clars, a new member of this forum! I've registered on it maybe a month ago, I've already seen so many beautiful websites that you guys made, just awesome! Really inspirational. I'm a music engineer, musician, and singer-songwriter, I do mixing and mastering for my songs and for other people. I create lyrics, melodies, and arrangements as well. My goal is continue doing what I'm doing! I have a classical music education background (had been studying in a music school from 6 to 16 y.o., the main instrument as piano). I miss 2000s, I was born in 2003 but remember my childhood really well, I miss the simplicity of technology, even though with the development of it I am able to write music. But yeah, i miss it and i love that this website exists.

Hope to find a lot of interesting people on here!

[takomo]

Hey all you people!

I go by Takomo on the internet. I'm 34, non-binary (they/them please) and I'm happy to meet you all! I was honestly thrilled when I found out there was a community like this, helping to bring a little bit of the human touch back to the Web. I just had to join up and participate.

I've got too many interests to list, really, ranging from digital art to music to game development, street art, unsolved/unsolvable mysteries, and the aesthetics of hauntology.

I'm also big into the furry fandom, so a lot of my artwork is animal-head people, lol.

In other words, I love way too many thngs to ever really appreciate in a single lifetime! But I intend to explore as much of it as I possibly can.

My personal site is a little barren right now, but I expect it to fill up quickly with whatever weird and fascinating stuff catches my fancy c:

Thanks so much for having me!

Hello good people!!
I'm Ellie (she/her), I'm 23 y/o from Norway and I just joined today! I've never done webcrafting before, but I'm really excited to get into it

By day I'm a library science student and library assistant, and by night I'm... procrastinating, mostly. Often with hobbies! Which is how I ended up on this site in the first place.

I have a lot of hobbies and they're usually on rotation. I knit, draw, game, hike, read, collect dumbphones/flip phones, etc etc etc...
I'm planning on knitting an Islender very soon and it'll be my first ever knitted sweater! Super excited. I love figuring stuff out as I go which is also how I ended up modding 5 different NDS consoles. That being said, I've yet to figure out exactly how this stuff works, so I'll be slowly building up my profile over the course of the next few months. Stay tuned! Only if you'd like to

Some favourites to start off with:

• Movie: Whisper of The Heart
• Colour: forest green (despite my whole closet being blue)
• Utensil: the smallest spoon you can find
• Fictional world: Sylveros from The Twistrose Key

Really looking forward to meeting cool people on here!

[mall-made manners]

Hello, greetings!
My name is mall-made manners (also sometimes rendered as 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬), and I am M27, from Central Europe.
My "internet identity" consists nowadays of being self-assigned (ah, such hubris     ) (once-*)amateur vaporwave ~artist/musician~ . /*looking for inspiration, music to sample, edit, squeeze and deform. (More can be found upon looking up newgene MCMXCIX - alt., here is my YT, as it is where I post the most of the "music", if I can call it that.) I also blogged for a while (myyolo1999 at blogspot; zillenial web utopia 2010 at substack; and I accidentally(?) deleted my tumblr alt (named the same as substack); other things - on my web. (see you there!)
My web (inspired by vaporwave and AriZona Ice-Tea's... never-changing price(?) - which is what makes it, if I have to guess , aesthetics)... ~ is collection of my ("social") links, "takes" and links for what some may call art        . Link is here (also can be seen in my Profile /probably/)  .

[norn]

Greetings! This is Norn writing. I am new here, so please be patient.
I love music, writing and arguing with sassy humour. I also play the piano, badly. And I love reading. Sometimes I play games (pc and board). Witcher, ESO, Hades is my vibe. I've been writing since childhood. For friends, for the drawer, sometimes to win something useless (like 6-th season of Vampire Diaries on DVD). Recently I decided it was time to enter a new era and I set up a site (well, actually a friend set it up for me, and I fill it with my scribblings). The site combines my weakness for polemics with my fondness for Sleep Token's music, but I'll write about that in the thread where I'm supposed to post the site, once I find it.

Have a nice day, everyone!

[ThembalethuJongile]

Hello everyone! I'm Themba, from East London on the Eastern Cape coast of South Africa. A friend sent me the Web Craft Guide a few weeks ago and I've been reading old threads here since.

I'm learning plain HTML and CSS by hand, mostly in the evenings after work. So far I have one ugly page with a table of the football grounds I've been to and a scan of an old match programme from 1998 that my uncle kept in a drawer. The colours are terrible but I typed every tag myself, which feels good.

Outside the computer I go to local football most weekends and I keep a little notebook of scores, so I think my first real site will be about that: grounds, programmes, small stories from the stands.

Nice to meet you all, and thanks for letting me in!

[karol_teh_alien]

Heya everybody! I'm Karol! (he/they) and it's hella kewl to be here in the great, flourishing capital of Melon-Land! (I was informed that saying 'hella' is encouraged here.) I like to draw using a variety of media, digital art is sorta hard for me right now 'cuz a drawing tablet's got a learning curve steeper than the cost of amusement park lemonade... :<

Anywizzle, I got lotsa art to share here! I'm also quite a superfan of Plants vs. Zombies, Sailor Moon, Powerpuff Girls, Homestar Runner, and Happy Tree Friends!! (Murder Drones fan on the side, if only for N. He's a good boy!!)

Check out my Neocities profile here-- https://karolisanalien.neocities.org/ (it contains more links and info about me that don't fit here) and I'll catch you Earthling dudes on the flip-side! LUV BEIN' HERE!

[harker]

oh my goodness i just found this thread  i have been lurking on this forum for a few weeks now! i am beyond happy that this place exists, and that i have found myself here. i'm aiden/harker (any/all/she/her pronouns)! i am from london. i am slowwwwly figuring out how to use this site and i am so thankful for everything you guys have contributed    about me... i am a former papyrologist and massive linux fan. i love horror movies, indie video games, and open source technology my homepage is a github pages bc i cannot get my neocities site to work properly :'( anyways, i'm pleased to meet you!

[elkie]

Hello! My name is Elkie and I'm so thrilled to have found a forum, I was never a forum kid but in retrospect really wish I had been. It's never too late to start! I think my big interaction with the internet as a kid was girlsgogames... be proud of your roots.

I'm an artist with a big interest in trying new things. My big problem with art has always been a fear to post it online so I've typically been a lurker online but I'm trying to open myself up more. This year, I made a website that you can find here: https://elkinboots.neocities.org/
I was inspired by some irl friends who are much fancier with computers than me but it felt so good to join in. I caught the bug.

Becoming more computer literate has been really good for me (turns out you can do most things other people can do if you put some passion in). I'd love to meet more people on the indie web! I'm happy to be here and nice to meet you :)
