What colour is 'The Dress'?

I mean, it looks black and blue, but that is because it was taken with a bad camera against the light. It is white and gold, but looks different due to bad lighting.

I agree with /home/user/ here, it*s white and gold. The blue-black appearance of it in that one photo is mainly just due to the lighting.



You can actually see some of the gold color around the very top of the blue-black one in this image.



And this image I found actually shows how the shadow creates the illusion of it being blue and black! The white part of the dress also seems to be a sorta iridescent fabric, which might also explain why it looks like a dark blue in the shade.

The dress and the photo are from my country (Scotland), so I think I know better than anyone else here.

This brings back some memories. But nothing has changed, I still see white & gold to this very day on that photo if I have to be honest.

Oh perhaps! Strange. Yeah, you're right. Huh. I always thought white and gold was right.

It has always been blue and black to me, though I do understand how it could look like white and gold, but I do kind of need to bend my brain for it...

It's gold and white for me, and honestly I'm not able to see it as black and blue without a 'guide' image...
