I thought this would fit here!! I found a bunch of old surveys on my ancient livejournal recently. (it just won't die!! come on, internet, throw it into the data loss abyss already!) We just called them surveys, I think these lasted into the myspace era (so you might remember these as "myspace surveys" if you were around then) but I don't know if they migrated past that?
I compiled them into a text file so you can snag one or all and put them on yer website...
KEWLSURVEYS.txt...but the REAL AUTHENTIC way to do this is to copy from the person above you and erase their answers ;) but some of these are
reaaaally long so I'll just find a short one to start.
Name four bad habits you have:
1. biting my nails
2. not checking my email
3. apologizing when there's nothing to apologize for (sorry!)
4. saying "like", "um", and "you know" every five or seven words (sorry!)
Name four scents you love:
1. fresh rain
2. diesel gasoline (eeeek)
3. patchouli
4. cat breath
Name four things you'd never wear:
1. crocs - because i'm afraid they'd be too comfortable, and then i'd start wearing crocs everywhere
2. new fur. or really any fur, although i don't have an ethical problem with people using vintage fur (seems more respectful than throwing it in a landfill) - just a personal choice
3. pumps/stilettos/whatever they're called
4. neon! the early 2010s scarred me
Name four animals you like:
1. snails
2. opossums
3. sand cats
4. humans
Name four television shows that you love:
1. the good place. i finished it, but it stuck with me.
2. golden girls
3. king of the hill. if you don't watch the last episode, the show never has to end ;P
4. the x files!! i don't remember what season i'm on, because i took a break.. see #3
Name four beverages you drink:
1. energy drinks

i'm trying to cut back, but i'm a caffeine junkie
2. tea, earl grey is my fave
3. water. i like sparkling water too, but it's doesn't hit the spot like boring flat water
4. lavender soda!! hard to find, but i love it
Name four random facts about yourself:
1. i've jumped out of an airplane! (that's way more fun to say than "i went skydiving"). we were three miles up! the scariest part was letting go, but once you do.. there's no time to be afraid
2. i'm studying russian.. which is a weird thing to admit these days, but my reason is because i want to learn more about my culture (tatar) and even though we have our own language, i haven't found any tatar classes. also, our homeland is still part of the rf so a lot of historic information is in that langauge. anyway, it's been really challenging but there's no rush like learning how to pronounce здравствуйте correctly
3. i guess that leads to my other fact? my grandparents immigrated to san francisco, with their community... via japan! my grandma was born in japan, her big sisters were born in china, and their parents were born in tatarstan. things were.. bad there, hence all the refuge-seeking. i'm pretty american i guess, but i grew up in that community, celebrating our holidays and eating our food. pretty cool experience :)
4. uhh, i'm saving up to go backpacking around scotland when i graduate
OK NOW IT'S YOUR TURN!! :P
