Hi there! 🙋🏻‍♀️

I'm Darnielle (she/they). I'm "of the old web", I guess you could say. I started making websites in 1998, and I can't tell you how exciting it is to see ~all of this~ happening again! I wasn't originally too mad about the direction the internet was going in, but when all my online friends started getting a life offline and disappearing, even from social media, I started to feel a bit isolated. But when I happened upon Neocities and found out there were still a ton of people making personal websites, I wanted to get involved! So I did.

My personal site is at darnielle.me, but I also have a personal blog (which is more Web 2.0) at darnielle.blog.

Because I've been making websites for so freakin' long, I hope to be a helpful member of this community with the knowledge I've picked up along the way.

Other stuff about me: I'm chronically ill and have ADHD, I moved from New Zealand to the Netherlands in 2016, I have two super cute doggos (yes, I am a Millennial) named Moose and Caribou (see image), and I love music, especially "happy heavy" stuff (like Electric Callboy, Sumo Cyco, Devin Townsend, Nova Twins, Scene Queen etc.).



I love talking about myself (honestly surprised I'm not a narcissist, tbh!), so any questions will be happily answered.

Sorry for the late reply! I missed this when it was posted. I checked out your site and I dunno about the skill comment. Yours is pretty freakin' sweet too! And yay for liking and using the badge. I amused the hell out of myself putting that avocado on there. Hehehe.
