My number one example is my old screen name on an old "Sing Karaoke" app (I think it's been renamed to Smule now) that I was obsessed with on my iPad, where I was FrozenLover845 because I was obsessed with that movie at the time. But what's really embarrassing is that elementary school me tried to build a brand off of it. I specifically remember recording a long and a short version of my jingle. Basically, I was trying to be a modern social media influencer in 2014. Not my strongest moment. X-X
This one's not super embarrassing looking back, but still a little bizarre and a wee bit RaNdEm XD: my Club Penguin Rewritten screen name used to be CookieTime57.
Also, some would consider PurpleHello98 to be embarrassing, but at this point who cares? It's been my screen name on everything for so long that I've grown a bit of an odd affection for it, you know? I might pick a different screen name now if I had to start everything over from scratch, but my current screen name is quite satisfactory for now.

I've never had any username I'd consider to be particularly embarrassing, but I'm glad I don't use my first-ever username anymore because it sounds meh. I used to go by "Allstar98" on Club Penguin back when that was a thing. This was around 2009-2010.

I also started using the internet at a very early age, and have always been creative, and I remember trying to make my own internet cartoon, but I had no idea what to call it/my profiles and somehow I landed on "Golden Goggles"??? But I didn't even spell 'goggles' right, so on some platforms it was "Golden Googles". More recently, like 4 years ago, I was really into Homestuck and tried to come up with a new username for everything that was based around the kinda two-word rule that all the Homestuck characters were using for their usernames in the story, and I landed on "NerdlyCartoonist". As silly as it is, I still sometimes use it to this day, for convenience sake.

I started using the internet at a very young age, and have had countless usernames and screennames over time on various websites and online games. A lot of them are embarrassing but totally understandable for a kid on the web, LOL.
Some of the ones I remember are: LpsLover5658 on Animal Jam (~2011), BrightheartTheOneAndOnly on Quotev (sometime 2010?), and real.comic.sans as an old email (2015).
What are some of your old embarrassing usernames?
Well these aren't super bad but their from when I was around 11 : froggyair , bubblefrog , --disfrog (I really loved frogs). Other than that I've used toxiins , butchbonez , and butchb0nez .

Alright let's start from the very beginning for me... my club penguin account. Now one of the only reasons i even REMEMBER my username is because child me was very smart and wrote my username and password on the wall XD So my first username was <Dead name>ttd. The ttd literally didn't mean anything but i thought i was smart because it said not to use your actual name so i added ttd at the end (Ironically, now my favourite type of gamer is TOWER DEFENSE because of a club penguin minigame...) Then we've got Superkitten25Awesomeness for my old goog account, pretty self explanatory to be honest. Then followed the short lived amazingginger (my first cat) which i quality left for amazingsmokey25 (my second cat). As you can tell my old usernames were very inspired and original. From here i FINALLY moved to a somewhat original username which was "ccranberru" (cranberru was taken on deviantart) because one of my favourite fruits was cranberries, I even had a long forgotten mascot named cranberry !! From there my usernames got more normal so I wouldn't really call any of them cringey, as someone who's had probably 100 accounts across the net, I felt the need at some point to give them similar usernames (or atleast display names) so the cringeyness had to unfortunately die down I love hearing all the stories behind these usernames, truly of an era where we overthought the most simple usernames ever Kind regards, Atari @720.48
