Hi! I just found out about this forum today. It looks like a lot of fun! I like the layout and all the stuff you can do!

My name is Val, but sometimes I got by Veezle or Vee online.

I enjoy making artwork and learning about tech, especially older tech and the histories behind it. I've always been fascinated by software and web design and all one can do with it, and it has saddened me that over the years the internet has become such a stale, corporate-controlled environment devoid of all freedom and creativity. Seeing websites and places online like this that remind me of how the web once was and should be make me happy.

Some of my other interests include video games, animation, vintage items and gothic aesthetic.
I'm working on learning IT and computer science. I also dream of working in game design too someday, though I have idea of how I would get there.

Anywaaay.. I'm not very good with introductions but it's great to be here!

Computer Sci is a great thing to learn (as someone who went through it) but don't get too stuck in the technology, sometimes the more you know the less you seeeee I'll let you know how the game design goes, Im still working on that too! Its a weird time for games, so many companies are being bought out.. I think we are gonna end up with 5 huge studios (Sony, Microsoft etc) and then lots of indie devs..

Also I have a tip for your site! (If you want one)
The icons change when you hover over them; but if its someones first time on the site there is a delay as the new hover image loads. I THINK, if you load your hover images at the end of your body with <img style="display: none;" src="XXX"/> it will pre load them and there will be no lag when someone hovers!

Hey thanks! Tried it out just now and I think it works! That lag was annoying.
I'm still very much a noob at HTML/CSS so tips like this are appreciated.
