This was my first game so it's pretty simple. I did all the programming and sound. The art is just stuff I found on the Internet.

This game started as a clone of Halls of Torment but transmogrified into a Shoot Em Up style hybrid. It features a day and night cycle, in which waves of enemies are more aggressive during the day, and at night you have time to prepare for the next wave. The goal is to survive for 5 minutes. Level ups result in enemies dropping crystals, and picking up crystals results in power ups. It is possible to accept foreign aid to help you increase your firepower, but at what cost? I consider hard mode to be not accepting the foreign aid.

It's been done for a couple months now. I'm interested to hear what anyone from around here thinks, but I also have another offer.

I want to replace the assets for this game with custom art work. If you're interested, it's a pretty small scope game.

I like the vibe of the game, i'm playing w a touch pad so its not very easy and that might be why i can't make it to 5 minutes  :seal: but its really cool and i like it a lot! the atmosphere is so good

It's actually really hard even if you have the intended controls. I should have considered that someone would try it on mobile but it was my first game so I didn't really think about it. I'm surprised it worked at all!

This is an awesome first game!! I had a lot of fun playing it even though I suck at bullet hell kinda games. The sprites remind me of an old mobile game called "Infectonator World Dominator." :)

It is a very difficult game but I tried to make it somewhat compelling. The game just felt more fun to me if it was difficult, because the line between extremely easy and very hard was so thin. And at least with very hard, you have some excuse to keep trying it. If it's easy, then you just watch the time elapse and it's over. To go for something that isn't brutally difficult, I would have had to make a lot more content. And yeah, as it was my first game, I was going for something small and simple.


My next game will be out in two weeks.
