Share Your Shrines!

One of my favorite parts of websurfing is looking at all the neat shrines people have made and reading about what their interests are! I love seeing people get so passionate about something that they make a whole little section dedicated to telling others about it 

I wanted to share my favorite shrine I've made at the moment, one of my biggest hyperfixations I've ever had. I'm on a mission to watch and rate every single adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens that's ever been released. Here is my shrine and what I've got rated so far!!!

Oooh!! A shrine sharing topic is a great idea! I have made 3 in carrd, but i would like to code one by hand!

I would like to make a shrine for my husband Rayman! Maybe like some stuff that reprisents us and a mood board for our wedding would be cool! I would like to make it way more personal and put lots of effort into it!

Oh, this is AWESOME! I have two shrines right now. One for Beyond Canon that is frankly turning into a cancerous growth and might have to move off my site one day, and another smaller one for Deltarune. The first pages I ever coded were full of fan Umbrashard stuff....

[Corrupted Unicorn]

I have quite a bunch of shrines dedicated to things I love/d.

My most popular ones are the Pokémon one, the Neopets one and the unicorn one. I imagine this is because many people on the indie web have played the same games as I and well, there has never been a time without unicorns.

But from this post, I'd like to highlight some more obscure shrines I have, too  They're my favourite to make, because this way I get to tell everyone about things nobody else but me cares about.

• Pfeife's Shrine: dedicated to a whistle costume (yes really) on the German version of the Masked Singer that lived rent-free in my mind for two years.
• Pac-Man 2: A fun little game I enjoyed despite its unusual controls.
• Gigi D'Agostino Shrine: My latest shrine dedicated to my favourite music artist. Notoriously less wordy than the other shrines.

oh, I'm happy I stumbled across this topic since I just recently started working on my first ever shrine for my favourite band of all time: Doe Maar! here it is, I hope it looks good on other size computer screens too, looks great on mine (lol). I just want to get the word out about this very underrated band    if anyone has any concrit for this page let me know too okay, because I want to make it as great as I can

My DSRK Shrine is easily my favorite part of my website. While it's not the nicest-looking webpage in existence, I'm still very proud of the amount of effort I've put into it so far, and still have tons of ideas to expand it even further.

My site is mostly shrines, but I'll link one of the more obscure ones: Lisa Frankenstein (2024)

I finally watched it a couple months ago and fell in love with the aesthetics, tropes, and literary allusions. Also, Lisa sings an REO Speedwagon song. I don't understand why this film flopped and I fully believe that it will be considered a cult classic in a few years (so now's your chance to watch it before it was cool).

It's not a very elaborate shrine, but I had fun making it.

Ohh! I'm working on three shrines right now. I only put them on my site recently (Petri ACNH, Who Framed Roger Rabbit) but!!!!

The most finished one is my Horseshoe Crab-shrine :-) I love the little guys so much

For now, the only one I have is one dedicated to like Amiga and Protracker, but it's nowhere near finished, I literally just made the page.
For a directory of them you can go to the shrine index, but as I said before, I currently only have 1. It's all still a WIP, I'll add more and finish the existing one(s) later.

Also, important note: the Workbench UI might not be accurate, I recreated it purely from memory and in like 20 minutes lol

I've made a few shrines, but this is one I'm particularly proud of: Endless Night. It's about the film "Dead Man" and the main character, William Blake (Johnny Depp).
