What cursor do you use?

I don't think i've seen people have this discussion here before, but I think it's fun. Custom cursors are something I didn't particularly pay much attention to before, but recently I found one I really liked and decided that for the first time outside of my IT classes I had in high school, I was gonna change it to something else, and not just the small change you can do with in-pc build custom ones.

I picked a Rice Shower one, it was so cute. The same person also seems to be making one for Manhattan Cafe, so I will probably be switching between the two once that one is done.

I use Posy's cursors.

I use the strokeless on my windows Laptop, and the regular ones on my linux boxes.

They are nice and clean, and they fix some OCD problems with the default cursors that can be found in windows. (espacially the bad scaling).

i like them better than the default windows cursors! it seems more sleek and modern compared to plain'o default cursor

I personally use a hypnospace themed cursor! I don't remember exactly where I got them, but it was probably pling.

I LOVE the look of these, and the ONLY reason I'm not going to use these is I prefer having a pixel cursor for the ascthetics

I use the Bibata Line of Cursors. Specifically the Orginal Classic version. I find they have a comfortable Design compared to the Default Theme but aren't too much so it becomes distracting.

Dang, I've just been using the default cursor this whole time (save for when I downloaded that custom cursor malware on the family computer in 2007). Seeing the cute options in this thread is making me think I'm missing out on a sweet little novelty!

I use a sort of in-between if that makes sense. It's the default cursor, but I made it purple using the accessibility settings!

I use cursors based on the UI from Morrowind, which i ported to Linux from a version made for Windows (Reddit link) a few years ago.

I have relatively old laptop that i don't use often, i've tried multiple times to set a custom cursor (namely one themed around the webseries nyan neko sugar girls, being a replica of raku's custom cat cursor from the official covid special) but everytime i turn the computer off and back on again, it resets my cursor :/

well, i saw that cursors-4u had cursors based on shugo chara! how could i say no to that? i use the amu cursor on my XP machine. haven’t thought of what to do with the others, since they’re all normal select cursors

We're talking about custom desktop cursors, are we? Because I don't use any particular ones on my websites, but I do have something on my own machines :3
I mean, by itself it's nothing special, if anything I just think it's well made: it's a Jolteon cursor which has a unique pose/animation for every cursor variation. It's very cute... Point is, I got it around the mid 2000s and never changed from that. XD I don't even remember where I got it anymore (maybe the site I got it from is dead now D: ) because it has its own special folder in my important backup archive and everytime I get a new computer, that's the first change that I apply. Jolty must be there otherwise it's not my computer. XD

Before that when it was more customary to just have one "family computer" sitting in the "computer room", I would always change Windows' cursor to one of the dinosaurs when it was my turn to use the machine. XP

My normal desktop spans several computers with different operating systems, so I switch them all to the same cursor set (insofar as is possible) for consistency. It's pretty boring: just white-outlined black pointers etc.!

When i first got this computer i wanted to give it a mock-aero theme a la windows 7...but i couldnt find the right set of programs to make it work T_T at some point i downloaded the windows 7 cursor though. so thats just my cursor now. I should get a more fun one
