Has anyone had issues with Neocities verification emails?

Hi gang. I signed up to Neocities yesterday, but am still waiting for a verification email code to come through. It's been nearly 24 hours now. I've checked all my folders, including spam, and nothing!

It seems there are a bunch of people on Reddit over the last few days with the same issues. I'm wondering if this is a common issue with Neocities or if they just block emails to certain email domains or something?

Anyone have any idea what it might be? Thanks!

I think this is perfectly normal. Neocities' verification mail does take a while to be properly sent out. In my case, I had to wait at least one/two weeks at most. If you don't receive it after this long, then that should be a problem!

I don't think so. Usually systems like these are automated, especially on sites with dozens of users.

According to a group I'm in for smallweb stuff, they were having some issues with this recently - I'd check again now, supposedly it's working! Might need to re-send the email if there's an option, but I had a friend get their email earlier today after having to wait a few days XD

From what I've heard in the group I'm in, apparently something broke on the site as a whole involving javascript? People have said replying to posts has broke, alongside this about emails apparently not working out too well

oh yeah, made a new neocities for a college project, couldnt get the email for several days, and when i finally got and uploaded the site it got somehow deleted and now i'm unable to log in, ended up hosting it on my old nc account

Late reply but the email came through after like a day and a half. Currently slowly putting together my personal website. Cheers for the comments!
