You guys have such interesting desktops! Mine is so basic by comparison, lol. I would love to learn how to get my mac desktop to look like classic WindowsXP. That time was my era and it was as PEAK as it gets! WindowsMe is also nostalgic for me but I'll admit it was kind of crummy at times.

I'm old enough to remember DOS/95/98 from our family computer's evolution and my mom's been a programmer since the early 80's so we always had the cool new stuff, but I guess overall I'm less attached to those styles.

Maybe I'll look into this further when I have time so I can get a cool-looking retro desktop like some of yalls! But it's been so long since I dabbled in this stuff. Pray for me, lol.

I don't know of many programs for customizing a MacOS desktop to look retro, BUT there is a cool terminal emulator that's available on MacOS, called Cool Retro Term. It looks like this:
