The Egg.

Greetings Melonlanders!

I'm Scrib, I'm an egg. A sort of Scotch egg if you'd prefer. I'm still kinda new to this whole thing so, apologies for any mistakes!
I am primarily a game builder, rather than a web builder. I really enjoyed Melon's Ozwomp games while I was surfing one day so I thought I'd pop in here to see what's cooking!
I've built a handful of games at this point and most tend to be walking sims of various flavours. However, now I'm building what I can only really describe as a "multimedia game", not sure how else to describe it. This game is inspired by web revival projects like this! If you'd like to check it out its called "Nyt-Net". If it can be compared to anything I'd say 3d chat rooms of the late 90s to early 2000s.
I learned to code yonks ago when I was a small egg. So I know a fair few languages, just, not well. I know C# best as I'm using it regularly to make my games! Html is fun but when we start getting into stuff like PHP, Python and Javascript you begin to lose me! 

I also make art that is abstract, strange and slightly depressing. Not made some for a while, but my last one was made for a Osamu Sato based Zine that, I'm actually yet to see. I'll be making more soon to fill out my gallery.

I really enjoy all varieties of music too! I frequent a site https://everynoise.com/ to listen to new sounds and pursue some artists I have never heard of before! If you're a music maker please get in contact! I'd be interested to hear what you got! Despite this I'm not very good at making music myself... I have a few 8 bit tracks, but not much else. I learned to play the Marimba in school but could never own one.

That is my piece, I hope its at least somewhat interesting! I'll leave my Scottish phrases at the door.

Ohh I don't get to meet many eggs! I just looked at my Itch and I think you followed me like 6 months ago, I followed back  Nyt-Net looks SUPER interesting! I am excited to try it! I played some of your egg game, but I only found 1 ham    Its excellently surreal though, Iv played games in this style before, but this one really goes 110%  The goblin town was my favourite!

Also, I pulled up everynoise.com at dinner and everyone enjoyed hearing all the noises, thank you for reminding me about that site!! Whats your favourite noise? You should totally get a Marimba!

Thank you Mr Melon for the welcome! I did indeed follow you a bit ago! I've been lurking and learning in the meantime before I decided to join. Your website was very helpful in my journey to where I am now. I'm glad you like Nyt-Net Its still a ways off being finished but watch my relative area for more news soon! Eggular is indeed a thing, goblins are one of my many favourite creatures.
My favourite noise of all would still have to be vaporwave. Its cliché but I enjoy listening while I code because its nice and chill. If you're a fan too I'd recommend a fun radio station I found plaza.one! Its really nice and I usually have a tab of it open almost always!
