visitors_dot_php - a simple guestbook script

With the upcoming closing of 123guestbook, I saw someone posting on the fediverse looking for a good replacement, with one of the main requirements being that it was a single PHP script. I thought it would be fun to try and put a guestbook together, so I did!

visitors_dot_php is intended as a simple guestbook script that can run in any environment with PHP support. It's built to be customizable and easy-to-configure.

• Custom CSS & JS support in the config
• Multiple form styles
• Multiple guest list formats
• Simplified JS interaction through the use of "data-" attributes
• Multiple database formats
• Optional use of PATH_INFO for better caching of custom assets
• Well-explained config options
• Fast (~1ms / request)

It's configured by editing the lines at the top of the script, but if you need help with that feel free to contact me! Most things have placeholder values, and you can just edit those. If you've ever setup a Minecraft server or something, the configuration should be familiar-ish.
