Hello! My name's Rosalie Claire💗(Rose, Rosie, and Claire are all fine too). I'm 27 years old, my pronouns are he/him and I'm new here, I'm definitely new to the indie web, and I've just recently gotten into learning how to do HTML/CSS. I found this place while searching around and I decided to join, try to find new friends and hopefully some people who can give me some pointers/constructive criticism. It's been a long time since I've been on a forum like this but I'm excited!😊

Oh you made your font smaller! I was enjoying the VAST text, Im gonna use it here! Im actually working on how to improve constructive crits here since Id like to see more of that too - its a great way to help projects grow!

At any rate I'm sure you'll find many resources and friends  What got you interested in HTML?

@Melooon  omg...i suddenly saw the font size in the full browser and I got self conscious and changed it like twice, i was hoping nobody would notice 😭 ah well. ('m honestly still worried it's too big, agh. edit: okay i. changed it again. rip.)

i've been interested for some time actually! ever since I saw some posts on tumblr about making a neocities with a bunch of resources, but i was always convinced i would be bad at it so i put it off, but lately i've just been kind of sick of modern social media and have been itching to make my own space to customize and show off whatever i like. so.....i guess one day i just decided to finally commit to it!😊

finding the right resources for my learning style helped a lot because i got pretty discouraged with how certain tutorials were done cause they weren't really keeping my attention, but i feel like i'm getting into the swing of things and i'm really excited now.

Hello, welcome to the forum! It's nice to see another person giving the indie Web a chance. Feel free to ask me for resources (man, I gotta make a Web development resources page...)- starting out can be really intimidating, it sure was like that for me!
