My name is Umber! I'm an artist and I'm new-ish to the neocities scene. I've been poking around with my site for a bit anyway, but I haven't gotten out to see the community much yet. Glad I found this place!

Man, I used to be on Neopets all the freaking time as a kid, but somehow never learned basic HTML while on it. I blame my previously non-existent English skills...

And *raises hand* I got my start with neopets! I never did much with it but I do remember referencing the html guide to try to make a petpage, which didn't go very far lol.

That's a fun name to say! I am shocked at the number of people who learned HTML on neopets.. I think I must be a lot less smart than everyone else because I could hardly tie my shoes when I was on that site back in the day
