Hello, i've just made an account here so i thought i might make an introduction.
I'm an adolescent above 15 that hails from France. I do a lot of traditional
drawings with a dip pen. I've started seriously a few years ago and it's been
very nice and very soothing, i might have the start of a career ahead of me with
a bit of interest from one or two exhibition halls but since i'm still really
young, nothing is carved on rock.

I also like a lot of movies, my favorites are probably "The White Ribbon" and
"The City of Lost Children" (the latter half-made by the realisator of Amélie).
Like everyone, music is also one of my interests, i now frequently go searching
for new music on labels's you**be channels for new meat.
I can probably talk a lot more about interestings like philosophy and
european comics but it'd be a bit too long-winded.

Apart from that, I have been slowly cutting links to the outside world that i
didn't feel were very good to me so by joining this forum i hope to create a
few that are a bit less abrasive.

I like messing a bit with my computer but not to a very deep extend but enough
to feel comfortable with messing with relatively simple scripts and programs,
and having a generic unixprn desktop.

At this point in the introduction, i should probably gracefully put a proper link
to the index of my website, so here it is (i tried to translate a few of the
buttons but the content is still in french).

I think i should probably write my posts in vim and then
post them on the forum to avoid spamming the server with edits just
because i can't type without (i think) pressing tab.

Maybe a warning for the articles, they're very personal and while
they're not violent or depressing, they might be a bit morose
(especially the diary titled "ANGOISSES"). That's probably because
right now, the only people that look at my website (that i know of,
are my family, so i just end up showcasing my thoughts a bit roughly)
(something that i can't really do when i'm right in front of them,
being polite and respectful, all that stuff).

It took me a while to figure out I had to click the numbers, but I found the drawings! Wow super impressive detail!

The City of Lost Children looks super cool; Im a big fan of Delicatessen. Did you see Bigbug? The reviews are not amazing and I kinda agree, but I enjoyed it anyway!

Bienvenue! I'm learning French so I'll be clicking through your site and suffering because my French is too bad to understand it hahaha. I've never heard of either of your favorite films, I'm definitely looking them up! There's also a post going around asking if we tell our families/friends about our sites and most people are saying no, I think it'd be very interesting if you participate in it because honestly this is the first time I've heard of a site being almost completely geared towards family!

I haven't seen Bigbug because i don't have Netflix or any movie streaming
platform anymore and it doesn't look like i can buy it in a store right now,
i'll probably have to wait. Delicatessen is great but i feel like "The City of
Lost Children" nails the atmosphere, the stage and the theme even more than
Delicatessen, if you haven't seen it, i can wholeheartedly recommend it. (also,
the beautiful music by Badalamenti really adds something to some scenes of the
movie)

Good luck to you learning french, it's a mess, but a beautiful one. Too bad that it's
not as accessible as english so most people have a really bad vocabulary, must be hard
to learn without it being your native language.
