Games of 2012

Heyyy all!! I'm working on a school project about gaming in 2012, and due to the limitations of the school search engine, I was wondering if anyone maybe had some screenshots of the following games?

• Black Ops 2
• Borderlands 2
• Skullgirls
• Kingdoms of Amalur

I would love to get pictures myself, but everything's totally blocked. It's pretty lame. Anyway, even if you don't have screenshots of those games, It would be super awesome if you could share some niche games that were released in 2012. I would love to go over some indie/hidden gems in my project if possible

check out Virtues Last Reward-puzzle game/visual novel released in 2012, if you've played or heard of 9 hours 9 person 9 doors, its the sequel to that game. I highly HIGHLY recommend the full series. I had a lot of fun getting in and playing these games again, they're great to check out. Also, not sure how niche it is, but Journey is one of the better games I've played. It's interesting to me how only a little bit ago we were so reliant on controllers, in fact, I had to use a controller for all three of these games.

One of my favorite games ever is Cry of Fear, which was released in 2012. It was only a mod at the time, but it got made into a standalone game not too long after release. It is an indie game, but it was pretty popular during the horror let's play era, so I definitely wouldn't call it niche. I love the game's visual style and atmosphere and I have a lot of fun memories of playing the co-op campaigns with my friends in the late 2010s.

Anytime 2012 is mentioned what immediately comes to mind for me is McPixel... even when the conversation is not about video games-- it is the most painfully 2012 thing ever. Something about point-and-clicks, man. (Apparently they came out with a 3rd installation of the game in 2022?)
