Emerald is one of my favourites. It just does not disappoint.

I have finished the SV DLC. Spoilers:

The DLC is split in two parts. I quite liked the first part, it had a clear plot even if it was not something huge. I know people shat on Kieran, but I was a bit emotional while playing this and his story really got to me... It's a clear case of a vulnerable guy trying to compensate for the things he perceives as his insecurities.

Part 2 of the DLC is what I had been working towards. Hearing the Unova themes through my TV was quite godly... This part is more of a gauntlet. For staunch battlers I can see this being very fun. I found it just fine. Would've preferred for the Terapagos reveal to have a bit more fanfare and impact on the full story, but I guess they felt this was enough information.

All in all, it's worth it to get I think.

A couple of days ago I started playing Moster Hunter Rise and I'm having a lot of fun. I've never played a MH game before but I'm enjoying it so far. Around 20 hours in and I'm pretty sure I'm not even halfway through it hahah  I'm planning on playing world after that but I'll have to use GeForce for that since I don't have enough space on my PC for the game + the expansion right now.

Man, I really want to give UFO 50 a go, I saw it's on sale on Steam atm so I might grab it. Conceptually it sounds great, would be cool to see what else the devs come up with! 

Personally, I've been playing some Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Pokemon Black recently! I find Space Channel 5 Part 2 a little bit difficult but I'm getting the hang of it. This play through of Pokemon Black is my first time with gen 5 and I've been loving it. Just entering Relic Castle atm.

Currently I'm (still) playing Balatro, but I've also been sucked into Disco Elyseum once I got it working. Definitely a weird freaking game, but I love it.

Ive been playing alot of this game called Nine Sols recently. Its a "taocyberpunk" metroidvania with a really interesting story, and the gameplay has me kinda sucked in. Honestly there is a really high skill ceiling but I like it and enjoy it. Its alot of fun.

I've also got to try UFO 50, but I keep forgetting lol. It looks a bit like Retro Game Challenge, which is one of my all time faves.

Beat indie hit Mouthwashing last night. Like a 7/10. Its good.

My current long term game is Final Fantasy VI: T-Edition. It's a romhack of Final Fantasy VI which mainly adds a longer lategame, and I'm doing a completionism playthrough until i get bored. Haven't played Final Fantasy VI in a while and its been a good way to reexperience it. One for existing fans and returning players like me, imo.

I've been playing Yume Nikki recently. I'm trying to get all the effects, I have six left! It's my first time playing, and it's really interesting exploring everything!

Also I've been playing Sea of Thieves with my friend, and that's been fun

I have been working my way through FF7 Rebirth since it released on Steam last month and am really enjoying it for the character moments. While there are some story tweaks are not what I would have personally gone with, the characters themselves have been crafted with love, and I just love having more high quality content to experience with them. Soon I'll be playing a lot of Monster Hunter Wilds though! And then it will be onto Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition! This has been quite a strong start to the year as far as my favorite franchises go!

Currently playing Alan Wake! I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would, definitely a pleasant surprise. Still getting used to the jumpscares though, most horror games I play aren't jumpscare heavy so it's a bit much at points. Keep having to pause because my heart gets racing, but eh, I'll eventually get used to it.

I am again playing Stardew Vally. I go back to it every few months and it's always fun, especially when it's modded.

I usually always have something on my console and on my computer. I got rdr2 and while I haven't progressed much, I'm enjoying it lots so far! It's a game my dad really wanted to play when it released because he had the first one for PS3, so I like to sit with him when I'm playing and I always update him on the story when he's not there.

Also a while ago I decided to get into Sonic cuz I only really ever played it when I was little, and it was a great decision! I've been switching around Mania and Adventure depending on my mood. I somehow ended up making a friend way more obsessed with the franchise than me, and she's never been so much into video games before! I called her and another friend over to play, and now she's playing EVERYTHING in release order and watching the cartoons and reading the comics and all that

Lately I've been playing a lot of final fantasy 14, but i've been taking a tiiiny break. I beat endwalker a week or two ago, it was great!!! I think it really cemented ff14 as one of my favorite games of all time. I wanna level my jobs a little bit before proceeding with the patch quests and getting into dawntrail...

Other than that i've been playiiing:

Minecraft (Particularly the cobblemon mod!)

Balatro (beat a run for the first time a day or two ago)

I've also been chipping away at final fantasy 10 on my ps2 every once in a while. I bought the console some months ago, it rocks

just finished saint's campaign in rain world late last night...i was crying so much afterwards. this game is just an actual masterpiece.
still not actually finished with rain world's story tho got hunter's campaign left to do and then i'll be moving on to the side modes. game's so good i cant not go after a 100% with this one
