My favorite vegetable is cabbage.

I feel a little silly admitting it, but I only just recently 6 months ago discovered that vegetables are food, not a garnish. I had eaten vegetables often before. I didn't mind seeing carrots in my soup. What I am saying is that only recently did I ever consider that I could just eat an entire raw cabbage, or eat an entire pack of carrots or spinach.

I've lost 50 pounds now. I actually look thin now and its all because I ate my vegetables. Do you eat your vegetables?

Not to mention how much less suffering vegetables cause.

If you want a recipe that is not healthy, then I recommend armored turnips!

I should keep a habit of eating veggies, but that's because I'm not very good at habits yet and I could use a few more cooking tips  I actually love vegetables, and my three favourites are sweet potatoes, broccoli and beets  :loved:

I love vegetables! You can eat so many of them and not feel bloated afterwards, you can grow them in your backyard (or window sill), use them as substitutes for meat, and they're good for you! We eat a lot of corn and broccoli in our household, but I also love potatoes, spinach, cabbage, and ONIONS. Oh man, onions are the best. So flavorful, and they're supposed to boost your immune system too.

I'm a strict vegan, and when cooking, I incorporate at least 4 types of seasonal vegetables for a meal :).
No fancy meals, I usually cut them in small pieces and cook them in a pan with tomatoes; usually either with tofu or lentils, and usually with some fresh or canned tomatoes. Wholegrain noodles as to-go-carb.
My favorite vegetable is Broccoli!

There is nothing more viscerally satisfying than eating an entire head of cabbage in public lol. Broccoli is amazing its like everything good about carrots and cabbage combined. Btw your platformer game is really fun.

I love vegetables... Usually a lot of foods leave me unfulfilled but never vegetables. Cooking up broccoli is my go to whenever I'm really hungry - It always makes me feel good. I don't eat them enough, mostly because I can't get my own food yet, but I wanna try them more! Fruit also does this, but I dunno why.

I like leafy greens, mostly lettuce, cabbage, spinach, kale, etc. But I really like carrots the most. I used to hate cooked vegetables as a kid, but nowadays I am fine with them, though I like raw vegetables more. I also like potatoes and onions too, but those are better cooked..

I see veganism talked about a lot! There are a lot of vegans in my family, and that's very cool! However! I am allergic to LEGUMES.
    This means:
    • No Soy
    • No Beans
    • No Peanuts
    • No Peas
    • No Lupin
I am a teeny, tiny, little bit completely incompatible with a vegan diet. I'm basically unable to eat any of the plant-based protein on the market, and even then, I have to be very careful with what I choose to eat. Especially when it comes to soy, why is it in everything!?!
 :trash:

TL;DR:
I like veggies that I am able to eat :)

Vegetables are really good. I'm glad that you discovered them. :chef:

Sometimes the trick is to just find the ones you really like.
For me tomatoes are peak and make most other food better.

Another thing is, you can make something that is relatively not good to eat in excess (like pasta for example) and you can mix vegetables into it, making it so that you can get full on less of the fattening stuff.

It's also good to experiment with fresh and frozen. Both can be good for different things. Some things are much better fresh, like spinach in my opinion.

If you have trouble finding vegetables you like, sometimes all you need to make them appealing is a seasoning or a hot sauce that you like.
