I just started listening to the band Escape From The Zoo because they have an awesome band name and Peter Austin from the YouTube channel Triple Jump gave them a shoutout because he recorded the intro to their album. I'm really digging it. It's been a long time since I heard a new punk band that I liked.

Currently listening to this one:

"Unrest in the House of Light" by The Protomen. Even though it's from a rock opera about Mega Man, so many of their songs give me chills.

Welcome to the Neighborhood by oh my god elephant

Been listening to this whole album a lot lately. They apparently released this album under a different band name (which escapes me atm), even though it is just the same exact members as oh my god elephant.

Their self-titled EP is definitely their most famously known work but idk I like this album way way more. Shame it was the last thing they released.   (Released in 2008)

I was watching the film 20th Century Women the other day which has a great soundtrack and rediscovered The Buzzcocks "Why Can't I Touch It". If YouTube was vinyl I'd have worn the groove through to the other side by now.
