I don't like thrash metal, I never have, but somehow, King Gizzard managed to make a thrash song I like. Gasp!

I'm currently listening to From Hell With Love (2019) by Beast in Black. It's a power metal band founded by former members of Battle Beast, it's pure Finnish cheese, and half the songs on this album are Berserk filk. The first track is Fist of the North Star filk, and there's a solid cover of Motorhead's "Killed by Death".

i can't stop listening to tears in the club by FKA Twigs, it's so beautiful and catchy and dancey and haunting and sad and amazing <3 the music video is sensational, some of the best dancing i've ever seen. warning for flashing lights!

I've been listening to this German pop-rock act called Scarlet Dorn that's just a little gothy, too. I like the singer's voice; I think she's a contralto, which is a novelty since most women singing in rock bands are at least a mezzo-soprano.
