What game would you want to be remastered?

I have never heard anyone call the MGS games "serious" before. :P

I have. They weren't at all pleased to have me suggest that they're actually deadpan parodies of American militaristic action-adventure flicks from the 1980s. Some people take MGS and the lore entirely too seriously.

People have written long-scholarly articles on the philosophical themes of Metal Gear Solid. Then again, I've also got a book on my shelf called Final Fantasy and Philosophy: The Ultimate Walkthrough. It's fun reading with a nice big bowl of Nietzsche Pops and a glass of milk.

I thought the first game was quite serious, but that might just be because im just too silly of a guy to be serious in comparison. A lil goofball. When will they make a mgs 6?

Probably the first Tuesday after Ragnarok, since Konami would have to either bring Hideo Kojima back on board or try creating a new game that isn't a pachinko table without him.

I would love for a remaster/remake of American McGee's Alice. I think I'd hope for more of a remake of that one, and maybe a nice remaster of Madness Returns. I don't know if it would be made, because EA rejected funding American McGee's third game in the series. Alice: Asylum.
But, one can still dream.

Paper Mario. don't think it'd ever happen... or if it did, it'd be at the expense of everything that makes the game so good.

I think the first Dino Crisis would be a really cool game to remake with today's tech, it has a ton of cool puzzles AND our world is in alignment with primordial lizard energy so they can easily tap into that fear , dinosaurs have so much scary potential it would sell so well

I'm not usually one for wanting to remake a game with better graphics, and I think adjusting or updating the gameplay of a game is very contentious.

But personally, I'd love to see a Chrono Cross remake. It is a very good game, and I'm not sure in what capacity I'd want a remake to take. But I think returning to an Akira Toriyama art style, to maintain consistency with Chrono Trigger, would definitely be a good idea.

I do think square handles his art style with a lighter touch, these days. Characters and environments are rounder and appear quite buoyant. I'd like to see something a little sharper for Cross.

I feel like a Tinkerbell (the. the ds game) remake for the switch would heal my soul. It'll never happen, but I sunk a lot of hours into that game & almost 100%d it.

I don't know if this counts as a remaster, but I would kill for a rerelease of Lux-Pain with a less terrible localization. It had a fascinating story if you could manage to push through the janky translation to get to it, which is a fatal flaw for a visual novel. The voice acted segments were the best part of it, presumably because the voice actors took one look at the shitty script, said "I'm not saying that out loud," and then changed the lines to sound like something an actual person would say. The subtitles didn't even match. I know a rerelease will never happen though, since it was so unpopular outside of Japan because of all that.
