A Late Introduction

Been on this forum for a little bit, but never actually ended up introducing myself!

Hello, my name is Dr. Luvstruk and I'm an artist from southern Ontario, Canada! I'm pretty new to forums all things considered. As a kid growing up in the 2000's I've always spotted forums on sites I've visited like Neopets and Gaia Online, but never really participated in them. The first forums I've really participated in were the Furvilla forums when that site first launched around 2016. Ahh, what chaotic times. (P.S. if anyone here happens to remember Oswald the red elephant... I'm so sorry for bringing that upon FV LOL)

That's all to say that other than that one chaotic site in the beginning, I really haven't been on that many forums. So hello hello!

A little bit more about me: I am a furry (if the username didn't give it away) and have been in the fandom since I was around 11. Crazy to think I've been in it well over half my life I'm also a digital artist primarily focused on character design and fan art :D Currently I am also working on opening my first ever fan merch shop! Yaaayyy

I'm obsessed with mad scientists + doctors, and anything medical. Moreso for the aesthetics than anything to do with actual medical practice, though I AM a huge fan of biology. Especially evolutionary biology!

I am currently a teeny tiny little bit madly in love with Dr. Baldhead from the original Guilty Gear game XD Faust too of course, but my focus is mainly on Baldhead 8P

Aaaah thank you so much!! I'm pretty new to the series, only getting into it just about the end of March! I got into it through Faust of course, after my friend showed me the results from that one Guilty Gear Popularity Poll on Twitter and said that the way everyone talks about Faust sound like something I would say. and he was RIGHT XD

And OMG tysm!! My ability to vary my style is honesty something that I'm VERY proud of, so it means a lot to me for you to say that!

Hello hello! Honestly I don't play the games either. Fighting games in general were always inaccessible to me :( BUT I am also a big fan of the soundtrack! I really like Alone Infection (ofc lol) and Freesia!

The last fighting game I played was Persona 4 Arena ULTIMAX, but I wasn't in a place where I felt comfortable playing online so the only person I played against was my wife. That didn't last long because she was concerned I was using the game to vent hostility against her when I was just going all out in every match because when she did win I didn't want her to think I was going easy on her.

Turns out she's not into competitive gaming at all; we have more fun doing co-op when we play together.
