Something different for this post. Namely, me taking on different mediums in the name of my oc girl Lyoka.
First, here's a plushie I made of her back in July:
She talks - aka she's a squeaky toy. It brings me a lot of joy.
Speaking of joy, second, here's a figurine of her I completed today! My hands are shaky as hell and it's hard for me to work with small scale of anything (also why I struggle with drawing traditionally, there's no zooming in), so I am incredibly proud of how she turned out.
What's she looking at? Well, come spring it'll be the sun. For now, I guess, a lamp. She
is nicknamed "Moth", after all.
Neither sewing nor sculpting is anywhere within my usual skillset and I yolo-d my way through the process of creating both of these, but seeing as it's my own character - if I don't make her, who will?
Also now I can literally hold her in my palms which is generally the energy I as a creator feel towards her, so, you know. Mission accomplished. I wonder what form I'll get the urge to try out for her next.
