I have one of the modern flip phones, a Samsung Z Flip 4! I actually really love it, but the privacy concerns do kind of ick me out... There's a bunch of junk from Samsung and my carrier preloaded on it that I can't delete, and I do catch myself doomscrolling sometimes-
I've had it since before I started down the rabbit hole of digital detoxing and privacy and the web revival, and it was expensive so I want to keep using it until I get my money's worth, but when it does give out... I don't know if I should get a privacy centric phone (graphene pixel) another z flip or fully commit and get a kyocera or something, which idk if i would even work for me since my job needs an app to communicate with customers
If Samsung was going to start making flipphones again, why don't they fully commit to it and make a phone without the modern bloat and spyware, but still usable?
