Ok I finaly got it working, the issue was that I was one the wrong version lol 

I'll probably finish setting stuff up later but I will be playing minecraft a lot more now! Thanks melon!! Hopefully I can find a good tigia spot to set up my home in, spruce is my favorite wood type after all.

I'm getting a bug that says I don't have an account associated with the server, but I haven't changed anything about the way I'm signing in at all. Same Minecraft account and everything.

Dunno what happened, it lost connection to its database, maybe weird maintenance with the host, but its fixed now!

EDIT: I spoke to the hosting company and they say there are having an issue on their end and are working on it!

EDIT 2: The host seems to be having a fault with their hardware, they let me know they are now replacing the server computer that hosts the database (they should be no data loss though!)

EDIT 3 23/10/2025: OK we had to move to an entirely new server, but it seems to now be stable again - craft.melonking.net is working, craft.melonland.net is not working atm but should be sorted out soon. Please report any bugs and all of the addresses changed internally

The main forum page has a widget for showing the status of the Minecraft server, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom. Unfortunately, from what I've seen it's pretty rare for there to be anyone online. You also need to be on Minecraft 1.6 for it to connect, unfortunately. I used to be way into Minecraft back in the day, but I can't really get into it nowadays and mostly play other games like Balatro.

Yes its in offline mode, and there is a password system in place so people cant steal whatever username you use ^^

I believe you may be suffering from what the kids call a "brain fart" There is no such version as 1.5.3, and nowhere in the info for this server is 1.5.3 mentioned. This is a 1.5.2 server, it always has been and it prob always will be!

For this particular server, it runs in offline mode so you don't need a minecraft account to play, you just need a copy of the 1.5.2 game files. If you have a friend with mc I suggest you install Prism on your computer, get them to login and download the game files, then they can remove their account and you can keep playing with an offline account.

Oh that's a pretty neat system you have, I'll test on eaglercraft (if possible)
