For those wondering why the yesterweb forums give out a 4xx error. Yesterweb discontinued their forums. They have a discord now if i recall.

And also keep in mind the agora road forums might not be nice to furries (so be warned).

But forumwise, i mean i have a starting forum, but i unsure if i'm permitted to post it here.

Shucks! That's a huge disappointment since it seems like most are trying to move away from Discord. Not that I would be opposed to joining said server as that would show them some support. I also second that on Agora. Not exactly friendly to a few groups of people from what I've seen. Already got poked over being "whiny and complained about making phone calls and protesting in the heat". I've been used to the rather lovely comments on FB, but yes - I already feel a bit soured about that forum's culture already. It might of not helped that it was very political eccentric topic being discussed...

At this rate, I might be looking into an active Zelda forum to join if anyone has some suggestions.

Yesterweb discontinued their forums. They have a discord now if i recall.

It's the other way around, they had a discord, then started a forum, then discontinued the discord, then read-only'd the forum when the project ended in 2023. It finally went offline a few months ago, but its been a long time since they were active

FRAF (Fruity Rumpus Asshole Factory) opened about a week ago. It's a forum dedicated to Homestuck and a variety of fanventures. It seems pretty cool, and at least right now is also decently active so I figured I'd drop it here! :D

I have to second Agora Road's Macintosh Cafe. Is it unnecessarily edgy at times? Sure. I used to find it a bit intimidating, but most people there are pretty chill and I enjoy reading community discussions on various current event/philosophical topics. Really opens your mind to new perspectives

I've lurked on Bootleg Games Central Forum a bit since I love bootleg games, I never made an account though. Seems nice enough, and is a good source for this niche interest.

I've joined the Critterstime forum, and i have to say. What a peacefull place. I inmedially felt home on this place. Although its not that active, i hope to bring some activity to that forum. That place deserves activity.


Anyways, for something completely different. For those who love power transmission towers, or powerpylons. There is a dutch forum dedicated to it. Even if you not speak dutch at all, there are a lot of photographs of power pylons to be found. Especially Dutch, and German towers.

Im a little desperate to find forums that arent dead, so far my search has lead me to myanimelist and here, i primarily am looking for forums that are for general discussion, where people mostly talk about anything, i dont want anything hyperspecific like a dog lovers forum.

you can always try the tv tropes forums if it’s general discussion you’re looking for. those kinds of forums are hard to come by, though; forum boards in general are designed for different niche interests. tv tropes forums themselves have boards for every medium of entertainment, plus some real-world topics, forum games, and general yapping. you can’t go wrong. but just remember the motto:

EDIT: another i really love, and the one i’m on the most: the frutiger aero archive forums. if you want to talk 2000s tech, art, music, the state of the internet, and anything else related to life in the turn of the millennium, this forum has everything you could ever want

Granted, it's supposedly furry fandom related, but frankly we talk about anything under the sun. We have threads for sharing your gallery and receiving feedback/critique if asked, we talk about art and artists in general, videogame making, music (both making and listening!), we have threads for hobbies such as motors, cooking, gardening, cartoons and live action, books and comics, and even random stuff. At its core a furry is still a person with many other interests so forums have to accomodate everyone's hobbies. It's not dead but slower than Melonland and gives out a more relaxed atmosphere.

I also run a pokemon roleplay forum!! It's sfw but also 18+ for moderation reasons

To search other forums, there is boardreader.com which is easily accessible from weboasis. 

Why do I bring up another unrelated search engine? Because it's great! Probably the most convenient thing I've ever discovered with a myriad of links and search engines to choose from. It was meant to be used as your browser's homepage.

I will second that as someone who has used their forum.

I think their real problem is not that they are explicitly anti-furry, but that they have the same sort of culture as the green bird site that talks about Chris Chan all the time. that culture also has many intricacies like how they don't like when you trash talk the clover site or Terry Davis and they often like the same linux distros as the green bird site members.

the huge disclaimer is important for this site in particular because there's no saying if you'll fit in or not just from readingthe featured and pinned posts.
