Random forum request to consider: maybe a song that plays on this site? A custom-made one specifically would be awesome, maybe even different songs when you enter different zones/topics :omg:k:

Preferably it would be something soft and chill of course, I just think it would be neat to have little melodies to associate this site with like many do with video games. (I've been playing a lot of Mario 64 )

That was kinda the idea with the radio! (Does anyone click it??) - the idea was that it would be an optional thing people could open as they browse- but maybe we can expand on that idea somehow!

This is true I actually have not opened the radio once Maybe the radio could be corresponding to the website more and feel more involved

This is a good suggestion, although it would require custom coding by me! (LOTS of work)

However if fonts are a big issue for anyone you can use this bit of css to force the font of all posts into a font you like:

Just apply this with a custom CSS mod on your browser like this for Chrome or Firefox!

Can we maybe limit the shoutbox to only the things actually posted in the shoutbox?
Right now the reply and topic notifications clog up the chat making it difficult to follow a conversation, plus we can already see what's new via the "show unread posts" links.

I agree with /home/user/ for the exact same reasons! The post announcements are useful but also redundant, and it's indeed hard to track a conversation: I feel like people would use it less if this kept up. EDIT: did not pay attention it's already been done

How about adding some kind of personal space within user's profiles? It can be as simple as an empty page that people can customize with BBCode (just like when writing a post!), but it is a place where users can further express their individuality and have their own little warm corner for passersby.

Just imagine the creativity of people here and how much value and depth it will add to the experience! If this website is like a small village, then this corner will be like their hut/cabin.

We shall call it... the Lunar Bungalow! (or something else entirely, I'm not good with names.)

I have personal doubts about how many people would really use this - but its a cool idea and it should not be too hard to add! Iv been planning to add a CSS box that lets people apply their own private CSS across the forum; once I figure that out I should be able to use the same code to make this happen too

I'm not so sure about it myself if to be honest, but I'll be very happy if people did! I know I'll use it.

Besides, customization options is the name of the game here. The more users can separate themselves from the template and make their own identity, the better it is!

I just want to say that I am super grateful that there's apparently no limit to the length of text that can go into a spin tag.
