  Helloooo! Just joined and am happy to be here. I've never been part of a forum before, only ever lurked, but they have always been a source of fascination to me.

I use it/its/they/them pronouns. I love coding sites, visual art, animation, and horror!! I'd be happy to chat with like-minded folks-- forgive me if I am slow to respond, though. I'll probably spend some time scrolling through other people's sites and leaving stuff on guestbooks... hehe...

  Animation webring! ...here is my little webring I've cultivated... the Animation Station! hehe it's small but it's fun, and I'm currently designing a nicer widget interface for it. If you like animation, it'd be swag if you checked it out. I want to cultivate a fun way of finding animations on the web that is not the dreaded Y*utube search algorithm... YUCK!
  Art archive! My art blog-- Tumblr is the only social media I super actively use. I do hate it most of the time, but it's the only place I've been able to cultivate anything close to an audience, so I'm hoping this forum becomes a proper substitute... It is the easiest place to find most of my art, as the gallery on my site is undergoing a revamp! But god willing one day I will be properly weaned.
  Writing archive! All my currently available original writing (and one fanfic lol... other derivative works are posted on my a*3 instead). Some are simply formatted, but I try to take advantage of the web-format whenever possible to enhance the reading experience. Mind the warnings on each story!!
  Stampbook! My collection of interests, links, and ramblings about the things I really like!! I didn't know what shrines were before I made this lol...

I've been making my home in and exploring the indieweb for a hot minute now but only just now got the courage to both fully step away from the corpoweb and step into this forumspace. Not sure why there was anxiety or whatever but there was.

My bio covers a lot of the general things that might want to be known about me but one thing it doesn't talk about is how I avoided forums like the plague growing up. I was in a fair few but only ever posted if I needed help with something. Heres a chance in my adult life to fix that, I guess.

I'm an artist, desktop musician and VOCALOID/vocalsynth nuisance fan. I've been building websites on neocities/nekoweb as a hobby for a while now – I manage both my own personal site and a fansite for my favorite VOCALOID character/voicebank, Big AL. I have a site for my UTAU voicebank series as well, but that one uses Wordpress since it's a bit more of a complex project. Trying to add a little forum over there as well in light of recent Discord nonsense LOL

I'm koiitan and I love drawing, watching movies and anime, playing games, making websites, listening to music and surfing on the internet to find awesome websites.

I started making my website mostly for fun as a new hobby to discover like I also wanted to have my own little space on the internet where I could design however I want and post whatever I want. I love the idea of having some kind of personal place that it's yours and you can do anything you want with it. It's just so fun.
I also have some social media but I have a tendency to change them often as most of them aren't very fun for me anymore or they don't satisfy my needs enough.

That's why decided to join a forum! As a kid I loved reading different kind of forums (mostly from silly otome browser games) and I missed them very much, so it's nice to know that those are still exist with active communities and I can be part of them!
