Greetings ~ Say HELLO if you are new here!

[aethersarsenic]

My name is Aether and I go by he/him, I may make a website in the future!! I'm not quite sure how but melonland seems to have stuff to help.   I love 2000s music and I am a scenemo (scene kid/emo), but I also listen to lots of genres of music!! I have made a short film and would love to work on another.  I'm 18 y/o and Canadian.     I like to draw, sing, read, and cry to mitski or pierce the veil at 10:47pm on a sunday evening.  ty for reading all of this if you have! excited to meet y'all!!!

[FishBike]

Hi people of melonland! My name is payton and I have a site called FishBike!

I made it as a way to document my interests (mainly fishing and biking) and share thoughts, all while making my digital life more intentional and personal. I don't have a coding background, and the site is only roughly a month old, so don't expect too much.

It seems like lots of folks hang out here so I figured I'd join. I'm happy to be here and I apologize in advance for the dumb coding questions I will inevitably ask.

We're the Archaen Collective! We really enjoy making just about anything on the web, and we've almost half a dozen abandoned website folders laying around! I'm Alec, but others will be posting too, I think. Especially Vallimere, our Host.

[Lunalunalunax3]

Yay, I'm finally doing the thing!

I'm Liliana (she/they/dae), and I'm interested in a whole host of things, from reading, manga, japanese language, music, video games, philosophy, etc etc etc. I love interacting with the indie web to enjoy all these things with others.

I'm excited to finally try participating in a forum for the first time. I always found social media in its current form super scary so I tended to only ever lurk and, frankly, forums are a little scary too but this one seems more inviting :3

[Serlei]

Hello!! I am Serlei and go by She/her!!

Found this site by pure luck when trying to look for some stuff and it looked very cool!! For a while now I've loved looking at older/older looking sites!

I like anime and drawing (although I've sort of slowed down on both :p)

Fandoms I'm currently in are Danganronpa and Ace Attorney, recently got into AA! (Also a little bit into Hndr :3)

I also LOVE finding stuff that had DR in it, stamps, blinkies, pixel art, parts of the artbook, the process of making DR, and more!! >:3

[ScottyMonkey123]

Hi, im Scott, and i like coding even if some of the programs i use are meant for beginners.
I'm a decent developer, and i made a website! (https://scottymonkey.neocities.org/)
I'm happy to be apart of this web revival forum, and now, have Ozwomp.

[Slyonics]

Hello, I'm here for the Seasonal RPG Game Jam, but I'm also looking for a community to encourage my creative pursuits. If I have a good experience here during the game jam then I'll stick around. I'm middle-aged, I played the original NES console as a kindergartner and I have a lot of love for the aesthetics of that era. I'm obsessed with RPGs and got into programming because I wanted to make my own version of RPG Maker, and I've made a few short game jam entries that are polished vertical slices but not actually complete games.

Anyways, I like the atmosphere here, I'm always looking for other like-minded creative people to work on game collaborations, and I'll post some examples of my game projects later and maybe look for teammates for that game jam.

[cyberdreamz]

Hello everyone! I go by cyberdreamz or Sasha CD. Pronouns are they/them + it/he.
I'm an artist, primarily doing 2d digital art but I love to experiment. Currently in the process of redesigning my website over on neocities - here's how it looks right neow.
I study animation in university but it's probably something I won't pursue as a profession in the future. Sometimes hobbies are better when they stay as hobbies.
I love all things indie - games, animation, websites..! It just makes me happy seeing people make stuff just for the sake of it I guess. Some of my all-time favourite games are are Great God Grove, OFF and Undertale/Deltarune. A dream of mine is to start making my own games and films one day. Just gotta... write down my ideas first...
Been following this forum on rss for a while and finally decided to join in. Trying to be more social :p... I may occasionally appear in topics related to web development and art making. Looking forward to meeting some cool new people here ^__^

[Tezzok]

Hello everybawdy!
I'm Tezzok (or Maymay), an artist and also maybe 3 isopods wearing a cloak. I would love to make some friends on here who have similar interests and will do artsy stuff with me! Big fan of music, anime/manga, and gaming!
Currently I'm playing FFXIV, listening to visual kei, and watching One Piece
I look forward to meeting you all :D

Fun fact:
I have the AO3 logo tattooed on my leg #socool

[Liam_J]

Hi!! It's great to be here :)

I'm Yvkpine, or rather Liam J. Justice!! It's so super cool to be here, I do digital art, traditional art, and I try to muster to learn coding! Otherwise though, I like playing games, studying in my free time about new topics, and at best? Serve Justice! (I'm pretty punny, pun intended)

I have a personal website:Liam's not-so-secret diary!

I write about the stuff I've done, or been doing. Or it's just some thoughts I've couped up into my brain.

My website is completely SFW along with no swearing!

[drowsy]

HELOO I am of the New... You may call me Drowsy or Datura, my pronouns are fae/faer and they/them.
I draw sometimes!! mostly ocs or selfship art. I'm kind of new to web revival stuff, I have my website here: https://drowsy.nekoweb.org
I also like games like FFXIV, Deadlock, and Muse Dash. I really like listening to music like Ninajirachi, Femtanyl, and just various EDM music.
I'm kind of shy but I thought I'd give it a shot by joining here...

I liek this emote its very cute ->  yipee!!

[KeyJayHD]

Hey all,

Happy to be here! My name is Jamaal, but mostly go by Key Jay.
By day I work in IT having computers, system building, and now servers and self hosting being a large part of my life, at night I'm a hodgepodge of a bunch of different things.

I'm a music composer and remixer, I do YouTube videos from time to time, same with web dev, singing, voice acting, and a few other things. I have a couple of websites, but you can see my general portfolio at my main website https://keyjayonline.com and because I've been so enthusiastic about the Indieweb as of late, I also created an outpost website on NeoCities at https://neo.keyjayonline.com . There, you can see some of my interests like Anime, what music I'm listening to currently, Games I'm playing/working on/dropped, and I even have an emulator spun up there

I'm here because this community came highly recommended as a staple mark of the IndieWeb. I miss aspects of the old web (I'm an old head honestly. Some say if you listen to the crack of my knees, it sounds like it's saying Tom Anderson ) and it's honestly been years since I've been on a forum like for real for real. What I'm hoping for is to contribute to this community however and wherever I can (as much as time will allow anyway lol), as well as help push the IndieWeb movement forward and help others get away from the stranglehold that is this overreliance on privacy inhibiting platforms (not going into that here ).

Currently working on a few development projects now, one of which I'm getting close to presenting here as a resource for creatives. Hopefully should be done in a few days.

Anyways, happy to be here, feel free to hit me up whenever!

Cheers! 🍻
