i'm brewing up my new homepage idea! it's going to be MUCH more weird and inconvenient! it's going well over all, but i discovered just now that even though my transition-property delays worked as expected in vscode's in-program live preview, they don't work at all if i open that very same preview in my browser! i tried tinkering with it in a couple different ways and it just didn't cooperate at all. it didn't work on codepen either! i don't know why vscode has lied to me like this but i'm quite cross! now i need to figure out a different way to do the thing i've been assuming i had already figured out how to do! betrayal! treachery! perfidious machine!!!! apart from that setback, it's going well and i'm enjoying working on it. i've found some sound effects and music i want to incorporate into my website as well, which i'm looking forward to. i'm also percolating a little guy adoption center for some of the funny little creatures i found in a clip art cd i downloaded recently! i think i know what i'm gonna do for it and that it'll be fun!

Finally done with my Michaelsoft Binbows 95 part of the website where I talk about synthwave. It's kinda dumb but I liked the idea of recreating a crude version of Windows 95 as an internet page. The CSS was a bit hard to guess at times but I finally managed to get it right. Whew !
I checked it out and it looks great! I don't understand any French haha but I liked clicking around and seeing what you added on to it. I seen some of my favorite artists listed in the playlist (Lazerhawk and Kalax) Right now I'm working on a gallery revamp, I liked the Javascript and iframes but it feels too "much" for something that should be easy and fun to explore. Getting rid of the fancy stuff and making the art gallery more static!

I am working on a behind-the-scenes revamp of my current website. Visually in terms of themes, it is not very different but i'm making it mobile-compatible .. i've been meaning to make things more responsive for awhile now, actually.
It can be somewhat stressful lately since i've been switching back and forth between working on the website and having to handle some things when my old printer broke down, which is what i used to create my usual mixed medium artworks. Though the site should be updated by the time i setup my new printer, and then i will have an improved gallery to showcase future pieces and scans on .. so, that is what i am working on at the moment!

I'm currently working on my first book! I'm only a student, but I love to write. I have loved writing since the day I learnt how and I have never stopped since. It has always been my passion. Even as a young girl, when everyone wanted to popstars and fashion designers, I wanted to be an author I'm not sure what the title is yet, but it's a fantasy book. The plot is extremely complex- but the themes are war vs peace and love. It's currently the longest project I have taken on, with the word count being 33213 words (and counting.) When I started to actually write longer stories, it occurred to me that being able to write is one thing and actually finishing a book is another. I always ended up abandoning one project to the next, even ones with amazing potential (that I have unfortunately lost) and it became frustrating for me to wrap my mind around how authors manage to finish one single book without jumping to another or getting a new idea on things. It took me a long time to understand that this was simply the result of me not being able to discipline myself. Even when I have extremely agonising writers block, (which I get far more often than I would like to admit despite my love for writing,) I make sure to write up to 1k words a day, which is helping me in reaching my end goal and finally write those sweet words “the end” on the last page of my novel! I hope that someday I will be able to publish my story and share it with the world
