I am currently catching up on a lot of writing I have to do for Uni, which doesn't really have a deadline but I really want to have behind me. I'm knocking out around three of these reports per day so I'll probably take another week or two for that (I already have most of them done though yayy!)
Other than that I am completely redoing my website from scratch (as you can tell when you follow my website link LMAO) and making a mini zine a week for fun!

I also am planning on a couple more things once I'm done with all my reporting and whatnot:
1. Finishing my zine on the old web revival that is due at the beginning of next semester (w ill probably also post that here!)
2. Customizing my Casio with some features I want, mainly swatch time, a pomodoro timer and a thermometer
3. Adding Bluetooth and a USB-C port to my ipod classic and also USB-C to my Vita (and maybe 2ds XL if i can be bothered)
4. Another class project on sexualized discrimination & violence

I'm working on my brand new site, Eunice.Town. I decided that I wanted a site that was a bit different from my usual style.

I used to make a minizine every month. I had several other zines too. But I had to give up when I no longer had access to cheap photocopying. Well, free photocopying, as my husband used to copy them for me at work. But since 2020 he's been working at home. We don't even have a printer.

OH that's so cool! So unfortunate that you couldn't keep it going :( I'm lucky that my university has a print workshop with disgustingly cheap printing prices (I'm so spoiled!) but I fear I am going to be in your position when I finish school!
I would love to see what you make if you ever pick it up again! Maybe you'll find a cheap photocopying place in the future or get into digital zines! (I found this really cool page turning animation thingy through @TheFrugalGamer , maybe that could be something interesting for you? :OO)

i'm brewing up my new homepage idea! it's going to be MUCH more weird and inconvenient!
it's going well over all, but i discovered just now that even though my transition-property delays worked as expected in vscode's in-program live preview, they don't work at all if i open that very same preview in my browser! i tried tinkering with it in a couple different ways and it just didn't cooperate at all. it didn't work on codepen either! i don't know why vscode has lied to me like this but i'm quite cross!  :skull:  :skull:  :skull:  now i need to figure out a different way to do the thing i've been assuming i had already figured out how to do! betrayal! treachery! perfidious machine!!!!

apart from that setback, it's going well and i'm enjoying working on it. i've found some sound effects and music i want to incorporate into my website as well, which i'm looking forward to.

i'm also percolating a little guy adoption center for some of the funny little creatures i found in a clip art cd i downloaded recently! i think i know what i'm gonna do for it and that it'll be fun!

Finally done with my Michaelsoft Binbows 95 part of the website where I talk about synthwave. It's kinda dumb but I liked the idea of recreating a crude version of Windows 95 as an internet page. The CSS was a bit hard to guess at times but I finally managed to get it right. Whew !

im in the beginning stages of adding an image gallery but im calling it a "museum" heh. it's really just a page where i add pics from around the net that ive stumbled upon. no rhyme or reason to these pics i just like them, whether i like their aesthetic or the way they conjure up some emotion. it's taking me a bit because there's so many of them and im trying to narrow it down to a reasonable amount lol.

Currently working on my neocities!! Im going for a bright theme using the (you guessed it) headspace omori pallet. I'm making a few small games to add to my site so I it's more fun to explore :dive: also so I can brag about making a small game to my friends who are clueless about coding. I'm also adding a guestbook made from scratch with a reply mechanism and whatnot. Again mostly to brag about but also because it's fun learning the mechanics of that kind of stuff :3. Of course there's the rest of the site but most of that is just about done.

I checked it out and it looks great! I don't understand any French haha but I liked clicking around and seeing what you added on to it. I seen some of my favorite artists listed in the playlist (Lazerhawk and Kalax)

Right now I'm working on a gallery revamp, I liked the Javascript and iframes but it feels too "much" for something that should be easy and fun to explore. Getting rid of the fancy stuff and making the art gallery more static!

Doing two things:
  • Making a food diary page. This means downloading, compressing, and uploading all pictures of past meals that I have available to me, and then commenting on them. Good thing I have a great memory for food, but this is a lot of work. At least this will replace Instagram stories as the default place to share all interesting foods I've had.
  • Creating an AO3 CSS skin for the fanfiction I want to host on my website. Based on another person's code I've managed to get my CSS pretty close, like 90%. The only thing that's going wrong is that my font doesn't look the same as the one on AO3, and I don't know why.

Can't post pics but I'm working on some Web 2.0 looking internal tools at work. I work for a company that uses react and typescript for everything and renders everything clientside. Our product doesn't work well so I like to write my own tools without modern web design/frameworks. Helps me manage data at my company without having to use our actual website since it sucks. Maybe I can put some fake data into it and post pics when it's ready

I've never actually made a proper webshrine despite having planned and started a few over the years... so now I'm remedying that! currently working on a shrine dedicated to talking heads, my favorite band, with a fun geocities-esque single div (not actually, but visually suggests it) content scroll.

I added in a few graphics to my site lately, although I haven't really had much time to work on my site as a full time student trying to maintain a good GPA with 15 credit hours this semester plus making time for having a social life and getting out of the house, as well as working on other things such as applying to internships and a few other personal projects here and there.

I am working on a behind-the-scenes revamp of my current website. Visually in terms of themes, it is not very different but i'm making it mobile-compatible .. i've been meaning to make things more responsive for awhile now, actually.

It can be somewhat stressful lately since i've been switching back and forth between working on the website and having to handle some things when my old printer broke down, which is what i used to create my usual mixed medium artworks. Though the site should be updated by the time i setup my new printer, and then i will have an improved gallery to showcase future pieces and scans on .. so, that is what i am working on at the moment!

I'm currently working on my first book! I'm only a student, but I love to write. I have loved writing since the day I learnt how and I have never stopped since. It has always been my passion. Even as a young girl, when everyone wanted to popstars and fashion designers, I wanted to be an author

I'm not sure what the title is yet, but it's a fantasy book. The plot is extremely complex- but the themes are war vs peace and love. It's currently the longest project I have taken on, with the word count being 33213 words (and counting.)

When I started to actually write longer stories, it occurred to me that being able to write is one thing and actually finishing a book is another. I always ended up abandoning one project to the next, even ones with amazing potential (that I have unfortunately lost) and it became frustrating for me to wrap my mind around how authors manage to finish one single book without jumping to another or getting a new idea on things.
It took me a long time to understand that this was simply the result of me not being able to discipline myself. Even when I have extremely agonising writers block, (which I get far more often than I would like to admit despite my love for writing,) I make sure to write up to 1k words a day, which is helping me in reaching my end goal and finally write those sweet words “the end” on the last page of my novel!

I hope that someday I will be able to publish my story and share it with the world  :ok:
